Just been out for 57 lumpy miles – 3h30 (3h10 moving time - bloody traffic lights). It was cold, windy, deliberately overgeared, and inevitably, a little spooky at times.

Anyway, now that I'm well and truly reacquainted with the voices in my head (and the whispering ones just behind me, over my shoulder), and have conquered a fear in a slightly reckless fashion, I'm going to eat a fucking sandwich. I'm that out of control.

Well done. Courageous effort! As if we needed more proof. I can't see how you are going to win most improved rider this year now. By the way: is there no North Road Hard Riders this year?
