Went to the canal with Tynan and got into a Hitchcockesque cul-de-sac whilst feeding the ducks… and geese, moorhens, coots, a swan, a grey heron, and about a billion gulls of some sort.

That was awesome fun. Totally knackered now, been having a disco nap

Did get frozen to the core but it was worth it.

Great ride today! Thanks to Sam and everyone for a fantastic start to 2011. Damo, that was no puddle. I'd call it a pond. Maybe even a lake.

WVM we need more tall people, these accounts of fording a lake are fallacious, but we just have too many dwarves on the rides. Minor puddles become seas, with Harpies, Kraken and scribbled notes on Garmin plots of "there be dragons".

Nice route WVM. I once cycled the costal path from Whitstable to Broadstairs and back. Surprisingly suitable for a road bike and traffic free.

Commute felt good. It was still shit though. An old boy called me a cunt when he stepped out on a red man and I almost mowed him down. New lows.

Well, I made it to the IMAX 3 minutes before the showing of TRON. No time for lunch so I had a pack of minstrels instead! Felt pretty good until 11, then completely crashed. Morning off though so can't complain!

Great to get back out there and good to catch up with everyone. Now I just have to clean my bike

Damo's winter tip: Just because it's cold doesn't mean you don't need to hydrate.

Too right Damo, but DJ's tip, dont overhydrate and spend the entire ride constantly in need of a piss as you are not sweating at your usual rate.

Went out to Boxhill on Sunday with Dov and Dommy, then did the short Biggin Hill loop with Hoops yesterday.
