Tom, what a nice surprise!
-
• #1035
Cheers Marco! Will look forward to catching up on the ride - not sure I can make Sunday ride - but will let you know if things change.
-
• #1036
Hello, Tom. WhereTF have you been?
I'm always up for a ticketing orgy.
-
• #1037
Hi BMMF, been embroiled in gainful employment for a bit - thankfully it was just a phase.
1st Groupsave: 1.) Tom, 2.) BMMF, 3.) ?, 4.) ?

-
• #1039
And almost all of them uphill.
-
• #1040
Please try not to piss on my fire. I am even considering riding fixed.

It's not too bad getting out of town. Sasmon, Dave4 and I went to recce the route last night but when we got to potters bar, we had a GPS malfunction.
Fortunately found some nice enough lanes for a pootle anyways.
BTW, the A1000 from potters bar takes you almost directly to the Flask. Nice.
-
• #1046
thanks dude. fuck it i mean even do it dressed in drag.
-
• #1047
Erm, this ride to Potters Bar...are you lot going to cane it? What time you setting off?
-
• #1048
i am riding it solo wools so i can play with the traffic and the fumes as i please. i guess i might see some of you en route.
i do believe that riding in busy traffic is best done alone
-
• #1049
btw wools, love the hypothetical question there - 47 posts, not 1 actual ride ;)

I agree.
And I'd like to take this opportunity (although I'm sure jonny was aware of the vernacular) to make sure people are au fait with another important morsel of cycling parlance:
'drag' - noun - not quite a hill, lengthier than an undulation, more susceptible to headwinds than hills, typically between about 3% and 5% gradient, Essex is fucking full of them.
we were kinda holding your place on the train free anyway mash, just waiting for the bail. ;)
