He's got a shed and everything.
I am a dad living in the suburbs, I bet Andyp now has a shed...

is 'posh' really the adjective you are looking for? how about 'free'
they were free but the bottles are 'posh' in that they have a really good twist valve thingy and are very squeezy so better than an ordinary bottle.

It's a Blackburn 4.0 and inspired by PMJ's bottle top based shroud I'm struggling with a beer can, a pair of pliers and mum's best kitchen scissors (ok, they're my scissors but mum's sounds better) to fashion a slip on diffuser. It's been a while since I dragged myself to a miserable pass in my CDT A-level so the gaffa tape route may win in the end.

Can't you just use it on a 'chase' setting, so that only 1 LED is on at a time? That's what I do with the Blackburn 3.0, and no-one's complained yet.

This is Martin we're talking about, I bet even his glasses are titanium.
I recently bought titanium glasses. I thought of Martin when I bought them.

How long is a piece of string?Gimme a sec
-
• #1016
The length of a piece of string is usually about 4ft +/- 3ft
Judging by the amount of people on the train for the recce, I'd say we'd be lucky to get more than 10 on any given train. As per C/S's request... Who's riding out then ?
-
• #1017
There were fuck all people on that first train - and it was a big train (unlike the one after). 2 people in each doorway (you could just fuck off those stupid-not-big-enough bike slots entirely) would get about 24 people on the first train. Maybe a dozen on the 2nd. Just need people to filter onto the 1st train by walking all the way up to the front most vacant doorway, so we don't get a stupid crush at the back and attract attention from jobsworths.
Let's say cap it at 36 riders, but make that inclusive of people riding out, to be on the safe side. If it drops to 24 at the station on the day, we all get on the first train.
Yes? No? [/moue]

-
• #1024
we tip up in plenty of time at the station, get ticketed and then make sure we are sharpish on the train as soon as the platform number is shown. no fucking about as 24 people on one train is going to raise eyebrows roger moore style

I feel your pain MrSmyth, I have tried more bottle cages than I care to admit trying to find ones that do not scuff let alone mark. These do not produce any black marks but slight scuff marks are evident where the bottle slides in and out, its better but still means getting through 2 Rapha bottles a month though...
