.......When you add butter & sugar to almonds something magic happens. It has that wafty pear-drop type narcotic-aromatic *thing going on**.
Hang on Lothario, its Easter Eggs, not Valentines Bunnies. ;)
Mind you, its words like those that get the whole Valentines *thing going on**.

I was dragged to Cadbury World the other day to tour the chocolate factory. Have to say it was really quite fun. All the happy-clappy kids stuff is rubbish, but the bits where you get to see the product line are amazing. The engineering that goes into making a Creme Egg is unbelievable. So high-tech. Each half of the eg is made, then the fillings are squirted in just so, so that they keep the right shape, then the halves are slammed together and sealed. The machines do it almost faster than you can see, though. The sheer quantity of the finished bars coming off each line is staggering. Think about how many people are tucking into a bar of dairy milk every second, around the entire country - that's how many are coming off the line each second. Astonishing.
Just don't go in half term; little bastards everywhere, and each of them hyped-up on free chocolate...

lindt 85% cocoa and sainsburys organic 85% cocoa are my current staples
for special occasions:
booja-booja truffles (either coffee or raspberry. vegan and made with agave but really tasty)
or rococo artisanal bars, basil and persian lime or earl grey. -

Whatever Cadbury is making it has fuck all to do with chocolate. Shitty sweet mess, that's all.

Well, I enjoy a bar of Dairy Milk, and so do millions of others. The company has a lengthy history in the confectionery industry in the UK, and touring their factory is really, really interesting.
I like quality chocolate too, but, as with most things, there's a place for the lowbrow.
