Hehe, i'm starting to feel persecuted now. I just had to give my postcode and address to the bloke in the mobile phone shop and he said "Wow, that sounds nice, do we have a Goldman Sachs employee in our presence?" Huh?
Just to annoy him I bought the cheapest handset on offer and told him I rent a tiny one-bed (true).
I suspect just to annoy me he's given deliberately a phone on which it appears to be impossible to turn off the annoying keypad tones.
*bleep bleep bleep bleep bleep bleep

Exactly - thanks Sparky this is something I've been trying to get across to people for a few weeks!
Hammersmith & Fulham Crime meeting is Sat 6th March 9am -2.30pm, Hammersmith Town Hall, King St. Lunch is provided. You must register. (call 020 8753 2816/email crime.summit@lbhf.gov.uk - leave name/address/telephone number + any special reqs (dietary, mobility etc)
If you live there GO TO IT. Otherwise I suspect you will see more cycling focused enforcement rather than general traffic enforcement :-)
K&C do the same meetings, the next one to go to is the K&C Cycle forum tho (see http://www.lfgss.com/thread37917.html) as we know there will be council people there where we can get details of the meetings etc.

I don't know what the priorities of my local filth are. It would be nice if they could close down the Iceland on the High Street though as it ends to attract poor people. And getting rid of one of the pubs would be nice. Oh, and there is a tramp on a bench who could do with moving along
Lol

PC Shahbaz Nooruddin is cracking down on loitering.
There used to be sign in local McD's stating that there was a £10 fine for loitering. When bunking off school we used offer to pay it upfront (whipround) to hang out and drink free coffee refils. It was cheaper than everyone buying something.
We were crap delinquents.

Who was going to fine you for loitering? Are McDs staff deputised or something?

- Theft and handling stolen goods
tasty. (Fulham Reach)
- Anti Social Behaviour in general
They used to do it in Hornsey, sick kids would put them in a lift together, close the doors and hit ground floor, seeing which one walked out at the bottom.
I am not belittling it, just wanting to get a more exciting topic on my local police list
