Feeling thick about this hung parliament carry-on. If tories have the most seats but no majority, Cameron is still PM? would labour be the shadow cabinet? does all that go out the window?

i've had a 50ml swing into my glass, mainly voters floating from the whiskey bottle.

They can try to form a minority government, relying on smaller parties to support them: the Ulster Unionist will be rubbing their hands with glee at this point. Labout would be the official opposition. The LIbDems back where they were before.

They have to create a goverment with a majority (I think), so they would have to make a deal with someone to get a majority, so as to form a stable gvmt

current govt have first dibs on trying to form a coalition. if the lib dems fuck brown off, then cameron gets a go. not sure what happens if lib dems fuck them off too.

Nice one. Cheers. Not far off what we already have then, given that you can't neccessarily rely on your own MPs to vote your way, and most of them don't even turn up for the votes.
The more things change the more they stay the same, and that.

The Tories won't form a coalition with the LibDems because PR is a prerequisite for the LibDems. The Tories could hang on quite a while as a minority government. Or fall quite quickly and there would be another election this year; with a new Labour leader.

It's not reporters, it's cameras - for some reason they are like hen's teeth at BBC News.
I spent 6 years in my old job setting up interviews with them and cameras are an incredibly precious resource. Guess they're expensive?I can't believe that after spending all this money on presentation, they can't get a camera crew to check this out. What are the reporters paid for?
Hard to tell at this point, whichever way it went it left me winded.
