I got my magnum key out after a lot of fiddling. Lubed everything up properly got my mate to weld the key and no probs since.
Ok it's a design flaw but it doesn't make it a bad lock. It works well at stopping the bike being nicked.

Someone attaching the velcro on my kryptoflex to their cable lock yesterday. Still can't figure out what they were trying to achieve with that.

Its the bike equivalent of holding hands.

Why waste money on expensive locks for expensive bikes when the money you save on your bike can be invested in this dog chain/padlock combo? Fahgettaboudit. -

That's smart security. Even a hardened thief is going to say "aaaah, bless" and move on.

Today: a perfectly nice plug (I think it was) mini-D'd by two spokes of the rear wheel, side on, to an old fashioned wheelbender stand. Somewhere that shall remain nameless in the west end. If it's yours, flippin sort it out. Sorry no pic. I was too distracted enjoying myself to sully myself with taking pictures of your stupid soon-to-gone bike.

Why waste money on expensive locks for expensive bikes when the money you save on your bike can be invested in this dog chain/padlock combo? Fahgettaboudit. This reminds me of when me & my bro were kids.
My brother had a cheap chain necklace and a padlock. This local annoying superbrat kid took interest and my brother hustled him into buying it as a bike lock.
The kid locked his bike outside the local sweet shop and it immediately got pinched!
A lot of Lol's at the time. But kind of feel sorry for him now.

A child could steal that.

Yes, they can be really nasty if you get them jammed under your fingernail.

I'm lucky down here (cornwall) There is not that many bike theives. And if your bike is stolen it wont get far, Maybe a hedge by the local spar shop...
But I do have a lock Which is a 4' section of hardened plated 5/8 chain with an old race tube over it and a henchy old ace lock. Going nowhere.

If only he'd remembered to hyphenate poop-shoot that would have been admirable. Though slight shame he appears to have signed it "Prick".

Learn2lock - sounds like the name of a campaign
I also own that bike. Newsflash - they do fold down into a little bag.
