  • Thanks again, Carson. The pics did display at first, then only appeared as links. I assumed that they were too big and some administrative power had taken care of business.

Just found another shoddily locked bike - will post it up later when not limited to my phone.

  • not a photo of badly locked bike, but the aftermath
was just going on lunch, saw a woman carrying this

through town. fucking knew where she was going.

  • Life is cruel

  • Yesterday in SW15...

  • home made d lock?? seen in greenwich on monday.

  • Gah! That's incredible!

Top marks for creativity, but they clearly haven't realised that a lock is only as strong as its weakest part. In this case, its weakest part is all of it (assuming the tubing is hollow).

  • Brucie made his own D-lock once.. I wonder if he uses it

  • ha, i forgot about that

  • Intrigued to see this home made lock.

  • i wonder if my insurance would still be valid if i used a lock someone had welded me from parts of a barbeque

  • i love it when they take the QR skewer as well.

you bought one of those recently? campag ones are north of £30 that's just easy money

  • i wonder if my insurance would still be valid if i used a lock someone had welded me from parts of a barbeque

    no

  • here's the old thread.. looks like he's removed the pics :(

  • no

    possible major sarcasm recognition fail.

  • haha nightmare.. sorry maybe i should have used italics, or kept revising instead of trying to waste time being witty on this thread

  • This just made me feel crap,

This stunning Merckx, full Campag record and carbon trispoke. abused and then locked outside Morrisons with a shoelace style lock.
I waited for half an hour for its owner to come so i could offer to buy it off of them. but in the end i had to leave a note saying that i would like to take it off there hands.
It needs some serious rehabilitation, its been bashed about and is rusting in places, its absolutely ridiculous.

  • canary wharf on friday, awesome

2 locks, just one locking rear wheel

  • Can somebody tell this poor chap where to find a new front wheel for his 'new' bicycle?

  • it'll stop someone sharpish if they jump on and try to ride away :)

  • The bungee 'lock' is one of the best. Along with the classic bootlace^^.
