  • I always get the urge to pick up bikes that have fallen/been pushed over, like that one, but then knowing my luck the owner would be just walking up as I did it, and explaining why would more often than not be brushed off as the excuse of a red handed, bike thieving cnut.
People, what a bunch of bastards!

  • I always pick em up. If anyone asked I'd say "I'm picking it up".

  • Not such a good call if its one of those "I dare you to try nicking this" bikes 'parked' upside down with no lock outside chicken shops or offies.

  • That's how I lock my bike ^

  • That's how I lock my bike ^

The one you found on the street?

  • Yes, also my old visp

  • I remember you shot-putting your visp the length of ingestre road then getting on it and riding off

  • That's how I lock my bike ^

Then you're as badass as the pugilist in your avatar Sir and I would refrain from correcting the orientation of your steed.

  • I once found Roymund's Visp on the ground on K Town road outside a shop and hung around for about 10 mins before he turned up (from down the road, not from in the shop).

  • Is going to look funny with a bmx rear wheel too

  • ^ Dammit's new bike design...

  • Never ceases to amaze me what people leave, yeah, your bikes been nicked because you didn't lock it, but your £100+ child seat and £? bike lock is still there, why not reclaim it?

Same for those that loose a front wheel, then just abandon the whole bike, why!

  • They'd probably nicked it themselves.

  • Childseat thing is mean though, getting back to no bike with the kid would be horrible. It's probably been left because they then had to walk back with a child and child accessories and couldn't carry it all.

  • Yeah, that is really cold.

  • or they hadnt returned to find it stolen yet.

  • n/a

  • This is what was in my head when I wrote it, I was wondering if children and children accessories sounded better.

  • Looks like my old bmx!

  • Outside my work all day, called the bloke out and his reply was "it only cost me £450 secondhand".

    Well that's ok then.
