  • my bike got stripped over there
    a library, one would think

Strippers are everywhere. Here is one in SE1 that I wouldn't mind seeing cry:

  • Because it would make the lap dance so better?

  • Because it would make the lap dance so better?

    It always has so far.

  • just to get things back on track: here is a cracker spotted this afternoon in Fulham....not that the bike is enough to my taste to be worth nicking....

  • Saw this at uni the other day. Full carbon with cosmic carbone wheels. Locked with two pieces of spaghetti. Left the guy a note in his helmet; telling him to cop on a get some decent locks. This was parked right beside a couple of snipped cable locks too. People are mental.

  • I'll get a photo tomorrow, but outside my college there's a Pashley Princess Sovereign parked every day with a spaghetti cable attaching the front wheel to the frame, and nothing else. Should I leave a note d'you think?

Two broken links. Sigh. You can't post links directly to gmail attachments; we can't see them any more than we can see the rest of your personal email.

Pashley P-S weighs a tonne, no-one'd nick that.

I'd leave a note - they're heavy, but secondhand Pashleys still sell well, and thieves know it.

This photo makes me sick! Must remind myself to not get complacent, keep riding the shitheap if I need to lock up.

  • If you ask CoppiThat: "how not to lock your bike?"

He will answer: "Just don't give your keys to veLLo!"

Sorry again about that... Glad your bike did not get stolen because of me!

  • These krypto cables need to come with a warning or something…

  • Wasn't sure if this should go in here or the other thread!

  • ERMAGERD! MERGRERSHERN!!!

    etc

  • There is a guy who leans his Bianchi up against the bike rails outside work but has stopped actually locking it to them.

I dont know if he has lost his lock or what.

I'm half tempted to move it one day and shit him up.

  • having had 2 bikes stolen in manchester he must be mental!

I know, it's outside our work which is not on a busy road or anything, but we do have kids from Moss Side/Hulme walking through the car park going to and from school every day.

I'll try and get a picture at lunch time.
