As far as I'm concerned anything West of Earl's Court is more or less in Wales, but I cannot claim to be an accurate barometer of public opinion.

Nice one AA, old if you hadn't already worked it out, was Baylis Road, near Lambeth North Tube which, if you were to cut out Greater London and balance it on a pin, would be the true geometric centre of London

On a different note, a clue would be nice.

There's a massive clue in the background - which at the time of building was the largest one in Europe.
