now then, what about this tag, surely someone's worked it out by now?

Mr Dropouts Tag, near Vauxhall Bridge, like a goldfish I've completely forgotten which sluice this ickle cottage is over. Hopefully he will be along to tell us more about it shortly (I may have had a better chance of remembering it if I'd have come on the underground London ride as planned but I was to hanging to make it)
New tag
I love this building, its so decorative its like a cake, clue is in name of image, not Harry but another potter.
And just for our illustrious leader I also have a GoPro film from John's tag to mine, its not very exicting and unedited as I dont have the software but will post up after this has been tagged. next level BTOB-ing (PS I dont think it'll catch on, its rather dull and your every cycling move will be scrutinised by a forum of bikers, gulp. I managed not to kill, maim or offend anyone I think).
EDIT this possibly wins the award (of shame) for being one of the shortest distances between tags. (though on the film I went the long way round to avoid accumilating traffic offences)

Lovely pics Blue Fleet.
My tag was Rio Cottage which is not only on CS8, on Grosvenor Road, Pimlico but, also sits atop the outflow of the Tyburn.
The Tall building rising in the background of your photo is the final part of the St George Wharf developent at Vauxhall in The South.
The sluice can be seen from Vauxhall bridge, looking West towards Battersea and is virtually opposite the even less noticeable outflow of the Effra. -

I've really enjoyed so much of the recent activity on this thread and have just caught up on the group tag-spot of Rio Cottage by Oat44. (pompous 1980,s re-naming of River Cottage, apparently).
And Oat 44's brush with the DPG.Makes me reflect tha even when taking such an occasional conflict with authority into account, London is a great place to live, roam and discover!

I really want to go play tag in the sunshine, but I can't think of a good enough follow on...
-
• #6683
Do it, keep the game moving.
-
• #6684
The worst kind of follow on is when you don't go out and do one at all

old: Royal Doulton HQ now known as South Bank House, Lambeth High St.
new: this familiar hillside copse shouldn't have you going round in circles for too long

I don't know much about this building but have often stopped to admire all the marvellous little details. Henry Doulton is the chap in the middle of the scene over the entrance. I particularly like the little owl next to the pelican and the beautiful wheat ears on the windows.

Reckon that is Brockwell Park- looks like Bandidos in the distance... Might be wrong though.

It's not a public guessing game.

Looks like Wimbledon Common to me, I can see Madame Cholet holding the bike up.

^ That's not Madam Cholet, that's Little Willy waving.

Great stuff that was quick, I though John's one was going to be on CS7 so I cycled along that towards claphham south and didnt see it so came back via CS8 and saw it.
@Hoefla I live near here and have cycled past it loads of times but since todays BTOB had'nt looked up anything about it. Henry Doulton's brother, Frederick was MP for Lambeth in the 1860's. 1939 Gilbert Bayes created the friezes that showed the history of pottery through the ages. The factory building was demolished in 1978 and the friezes transferred to the Victoria & Albert Museum. The freize above the door shows potters and Sir Henry Doulton. The freize was done by George Tinworth, see here.
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/speel/otherart/tinworth.htm
The Lambeth factory closed in 1956 due to clean air regulations preventing urban production of salt glaze. Following closure, work was transferred to The Potteries.
And as promised for Minh or anyone else that have 12 minutes of your life you don't want returning here Dropouts tag to mine, the long way round. I was also going to leave the film running and include the race back to my house and record the whole rushed upload process but go paranoid about having a film leading directly to my house and my lovely bat-cave of steeds so did'nt in the end, oh well.

Excellent video. I watched the whole thing!
I enjoyed the commentating and wished you talked more!
It's nice to recognise roads that I once jogged on. :)
What speeds do you average? Looked pretty fast to me! I think you could even do a spotted version on the Go Pro too if that hasn't been done.

Foolish!
Too easy = no fun...?
Make sure it includes a good crash or seven. :)
Sounds nice, could be published after the previous tag had been claimed. No chance of making it a regular feature, though.
