A telegraph pole? A caber? a vaulting pole?

William Pole-Tylney-Long-Wellesley, 4th Earl of Mornington (22 June 1788 – 1 July 1857) was an Anglo-Irish nobleman notorious for his dissipated lifestyle.
Married and later abandoned a lady called Catherine. She then died of venereal disease which he apparently gave her. [Via Wikipedia]
Venereal disease, earl of mornington... Does Koko have a pond nearby? -

Maybe Wills and Cathy wanst to go to this park to visit santa.
Now someone fucking get this quick as I'm off the bike and had this one straight away. I'll even drive the bike there if it hasn't gone tomorrow.

Cool, new tag tomorrow then.
-
• #6263
I wish I'd pre tagged somewhere now as I'm likely to get a parking ticket playing the game where I want to tag.

• #6264
I think I have this one now, but I have no idea what the santa clue is about. brb...

Really?

I've only been able to get the clues by working backwards after you pretty much spelt it out for us. SRBradley either knows and is not letting on or is closer than he thinks (not in terms of location, it's not worth a trip to Koko).
-
• #6267
So you've never been to the Lapland room in Koko then?
-
• #6268
Laps. Poles, and dodgy nightclubs, this has the potential to get pretty grotty.
-
• #6269
I figured it out after having to read the entire wikipedia article but a trip that far today is not something I want, 'stead I'm going to park myself here and hope the next one is nearer.

I have the photos in my camera now, but I've diverted to the pub. (where getting drunk and losing my camera is a possibility)

Resolved the location too, but what a trawl!
I remember when it was just ' I recognize that I'll swing by '. Now it's all Street View, Wiki., and earnest research.Oat44 awarded Grand Master Tagger status.

Really? Really, really?

Very kind!^^ I think if every tag were like mine just now, it would be pretty arduous, but once in a while I think it's fun to have a challenging one.

I did a bit of work not far away from the latest one about 3 weeks ago and walked the dog there at lunchtime. I remember thinking I should try and find out what it was, but until seeing it on here I hadn't bothered and had no idea what it was called until SRBradley posted the wiki clue. Quite sad that I could've tagged it yet not had a clue what it was still.

Old tag: The recently restored Wanstead Park Grotto
New tag:

Fair enough, I'm working on a better clue. The ice reference is not a clue, I should point out ;-)
In the meantime, it may be useful to know it's within the n/s circulars, just.
