I think I know the current tag, or rather... I believe I recall what all the clues lead to. Shouldn't be hard to cycle around it and take a look, but I won't get a chance until tomorrow morning.
-
• #5503
Yup, found it on Google Streetview. I bet Mashton beats me to my first ever tag.
-
• #5504
Finally worked it out from the clues, not that I can get there in the near future (or babysit for you, sorry mashton).
This is a good tag. It's nice to have a tricky one every so often, gives the game a bit of a lift. That said, nothing wrong with the easy ones either, so long as you're not just phoning it in.

• #5505
Gonna try my damndest DK. You'll know my one, if I do get it though.
-
• #5506
I bet that, now we're talking of it... someone else gets out there and beats us to it.

Old Tag: Subterranean entrance on Furnival St.
New Tag:
Clue: He's one colourful cat.
-
• #5508
Not colourful enough for my eyes.
-
• #5509
Fuck... I had it taken, I was just uploading the images.
-
• #5510
Must be a Cheshire cat grinning so big he's turned into a vacuum.
btw - is there a problem with pictures at the moment? Same thing happened in the Wests thread.

Darn Picasa. That should be better.
Woo, first tag!
-
• #5512
Might abuse admin powers and post it anyway and then change mashton's timestamp.
-
• #5513
Fuck... I had it taken, I was just uploading the images.
Really? Sorry buddy.
-
• #5514
No worries, you would've come from further away, so you deserve it. Besides, I was being cocky and decided to eat my lunch before posting, so it served me right.
-
• #5515
Lol. We al know you are too benevolent (chicken-shit) to mess with the forum like that...
Hope you enjoyed your lunch, I skipped it so that I could post.

• #5516
Mate the new one is very near you (latitude stalk). If you know it, you could get it in a coffee break, peasy.

Heh, I actually came off lunch because I saw that you'd crossed Waterloo Bridge and that I'd better post soon. Unfortunately was in the cafe around the corner so you still beat me to it.
No tea breaks for me as I've meetings all afternoon. If it's still available in the morning I'll grab it then.

• #5518
Ahhh I know the new one. Can't get it though, don't want to hog the game :(

A bit of trivia regarding the Furnival Street tag. That entrance leads to a big goods lift and nothing else. The lift goes down around 100'
The pedestrian access is via a couple of passenger lifts behind a door just inside this alleyway

That's the old entrance to Chancery Lane station right? I've spent so much time reading about this, I'm a massive sucker for secret London nerdyness.
This is a map of the underground tunnels, furnival street is on the left hand side towards the bottom
-
• #5521
No, it's a dedicated entrance to this complex. It's odd walking through these tunnels and hearing underground trains passing over your head.
I also did some work in the BT tunnels at Ilford. The tunnel goes right through into central London and they had a major problem when someone drilling foundations on the Olympic site bored straight through the tunnel and the cabling therein. Oops! -

This new tag is bugging me, I want to get it tonight but cannot find it. Gah!
-
• #5523
Love it.
-
• #5524
Know where the new one is. Mulling over possible new tags though.
-
• #5525
^^That's dedication!
A great tag this one, reading all about it last night in this excellent book:
