  • yeah easy locations seem to be the key here - therefore didn't go for anything silly as well:)

  • I am SO SORRY about the picture quality. Blackberry cameras are awful.

Old - Kentish Town Road, by Camden Lock

    New

  • Clue:

Some of the stuff hidden away underneath London is fascinating.

  • I did this whilst quite drunk. Dedication!

  • What locks were you using?!

Can't remember - it was about 13 years ago.
    Not good enough ones obviously!

  • This one isn't massively easy but it does have a fascinating story behind it. I will think up some more clues if requested.

  • I thought it must be some amazing feature on the World's End/Underworld in Camden that I'd missed. Looked just round the corner and found a building with a crane on too, but it wasn't right.

  • on a completely unrelated (or at least only related to about 20 posts back) note. there's a downloadable mp3 audio guide to a couple of london's underground rivers (fleet and and and the neckinger thus far).

  • Not that unrelated...

  • perhaps not. look for artesian wanderers or some such. haven't done them yet so might be pony.

  • Aww c'mon guys, any ideas? I don't want to kill the game after it was going to so well.

  • Jess. Is the location open to the sky, or is it under a canopy/ roof?

  • I am SO SORRY about the picture quality. Blackberry cameras are awful.

If you're a Blackberry user did you not manage to loot a nice new camera in the riots?

  • Open to the sky, on a perfectly ordinary street.

Not in Camden, I should add.

^ I would have had my camera with me but I decided that cycling with a laptop* and *SLR in my rucksack was a bit too dangerous.

  • I so know this one having worked inside it a couple of times in the last year. Shame I'm working in Guildford this week.

  • MORE CLUES:

It was originally built by London Transport under the order of the government, but not for the immediate purpose of underground trains...it has hosted a range of people and artifacts over the years, for the Public Record Office, the General Post Office, British Telecoms and the Ministry of Defence.

It is said to be* a city beneath a city*.

  • Googled it, found it. Interesting place I didn't even know of. Won't be going tonight though. Good luck taggers!

  • Bicycle tag or bikers may be saddened to see the current state (as of this morning) of the sewer-powered lamp at the foot of Carting Lane

Bicycle tag or bikers may be please that it now been fixed...

    ...Carry on tagging

  • ^ awesome!

    '39' ? I don't see no steps?

Can't wait to start tagging with the new steed :-)

  • Tag this one then! I've given enough info for it to be easily googled as roboto has proven.

  • Would love to, but not got any time until the weekend. Gah.

  • its on the way to work. might try it tomorrow.

  • I don't know the place by sight, but I read a lot about it. Weirdly it's the first place I thought of when I saw the photo.

    Rather queer

  • Might be able to get my first ever tag today, just waiting for my mum to turn up and be able to baby sit. As soon as Imogen can go on the back of the bike, tagging could be our main game.

  • Arse biscuits - train delay due to animals on the track in hereford - tagging looking unlikely.

    Only in LFL, eh?
