  • been experimenting with BlueQuinn's suggestion...

quite easy to change the colour and number
    code for the icon is:
    http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?chst=d_map_spin&chld=0.75|-0|CC3333|12|_|221

to change the number, just change the last three
to change the colour you change the CC3333 bit to one of the different colours here

    any thoughts/preferences?

  • Some lovely tags at the moment. Good work!

  • don't really need a clue for this one, no?

yea but i thought of a good clue so i used it. I couldn't photograph it without the words anyway. I at least got rid of the st name. I thought it might be too hard without any give aways

  • it's good. I might finally get to one.. ;)

  • Old tag: Clifton Suspension Bridge bench at the Brunel Museum Rotherhithe

love that. new one on me.

  • Looks nothing like the CSB. Am I missing the point? :)

Christ, I haven't seen web safe colours mentioned for a long time.

  • Lovely new tag.

yes, obviously no need for web colours to be 'safe' any more, it was just to narrow down the choice a bit from 16m to 216!
I have very un-democratically chosen FFCC33 otherwise known as 'yellow' for the tags since 200, but it's easy to change. I just thought it might get confusing if the black ones (1-100) get reused for 200-300 too.

That's all relative though. It is indeed far from Chingford, but it's not far from Wembley.

We haven't been up there much yet, and it's good to have more tags in different areas. As one of London's best landmark buildings, this had to be tagged in any event.

  • It's a brilliant tag. I ain't going there, but I love it.
I was looking at the map the other day and we've been too far north, too far east, and too far south. About time West had a look in :-)

The ironic thing about web safe colours was that apart from black and white they weren't web safe in the first place. It was all a guess by the pallette creators and it was wrong.

  • That's true. My knowledge of it is skewed anyway as I haven't been there since I was 10 or something and it seemed to take hours to drive there so I thought it was miles outside of London, but looking at the map now it doesn't seem far out at all.

  • There was an Ealing Studios tag a while back & people moan about how far out West Beers is and that's closer in by a couple of miles.

How far west is too far west? Richmond? Kingston Upon Thames?

  • Oxford

  • Bristol

  • where is west london anyway?

Why it's the nice part' (snort) jolly good.

  • i live in walthamstow, but it was more than worth the trip.

    off you pop.
