In the original hotel the lifts were water powered and the buffers in the station were used as pumps to raise the water into the header tanks for the lifts.
Yes, incredible building and even more incredible how close we got to loosing it.

black tag #9 by Oli. although the paint has been changed since then so it is technically a different piece of art now...?
-

I do apologise but I'm relatively new to the forum and there's no way I'm going to trawl through 79 pages to check if it's been done already. I certainly appreciate your stance that it's technically a new item as the colour scheme has changed. Thank you!

Ah, so the game has finally descended into reposts. A shame...

DC13; go and get a new tag and you are back in the game.

i imagine its a good idea to search the forum to references to any new tag ideas in advance..

New rule should be added:
If you tag same place (your new one) as someone did sometime ago, you should be disqualified until you go through the list and remember them all :) -

No need to trawl through 79 pages: http://www.lfgss.com/post2343369-3813.html
That tank tag was the first one I thought of doing till I noticed it had been done on that rather brilliant map that oat44 made

but oat44 updated it recently, which was appreciated. Can be easily found at www.tinyurl.com/lfgssbtob (it's in the tags at the bottom of this very page) - I think rhowe is responsible for the sensible shorturl.

Change your white balance if you can, it's probably set to incandescent, which is why everything is so blue.. -

Ha! As 6pt said up there ^^^^^ I can't take the credit for the map - 6pt started it and various people have updated it on the way. I just updated it from 173 to 213.
It IS a brilliant map no question!
That tiny url in the tags below is a brain wave, never seen it until now -
