C'mon Katie, no new pic= no tag. Or, in my case, pic of old tag that is not the right place = no tag.

The lamp on top of that police box is rumoured to be from Nelson's flagship, the Victory. Although there is no proof of this.

I know exactly where this tag is but I'm out of London!

Sorry again- forgot the bit of history about the police box: it was originally an ornamental light fitting, which was installed in 1826. It was hollowed out in 1926 by Scotland Yard and an internal light and telephone were installed. There was only room for 1 police officer, who would call for assistance whenever there was any sign of trouble such as demonstrations or when large groups of people congregated.
This wee Police Station or Police Box to give its proper title, is now believe it or not a storage cupboard for Westminster Council Cleaners. -

For those who haven't already googled, the mystery bronze was Unfurl by Eilis O'Connell, 2000
http://pmsa.cch.kcl.ac.uk/CL/CLKC078.htmApparently it made it all the way to the 2002 Venice Biennial thanks to the Cass Foundation

Old Tag - Arnold Circus:
New Tag - Sunny with a chance of meatballs:
I finally got one!

ooh potential afterwork mile-mission!

Arnold Circus is in the Boundry Estate, the worlds first council housing scheme. It was built in 1890 to replace the Rookery, a Dickensian maze of slum alleys ruled over by criminals and ne'er-do-wells.

Ta OLC. The bottom photo is going to give someone a beautiful ride in the sun.
When are we doing a Bicycle Tag of Bike Ride? The map is already done, we just need to join the dots...
-
• #3018
It did indeed :)
Footbridge over the River Lee diversion, Upper Edmonton.
The blue building in the background is Ikea of course, hence the meatballs clue, so yes it would have been rude not to.
New tag - you could call it a village green, in a roundabout sort of way...

• #3019
just behind my house - too hot to leave though.

Cool. Leave it for me then, I'll tag it on my way home!
