It is accurate up till 1927. A better bet is to search in the thread for location or street name. An even better bet is to do 2 or 3 tags when you are out so you have a back up if your first choice turns out to be a retag.

Fair, good suggestions!

There was that time a tag was claimed from a moving train? The spirit of the game is more important than the rules

Is the tag assessable in the evening/night

I'm assuming it's lack of opportunity/bad weather stopping people with this one? Or does anyone need a clue?
-
• #24157
Wanted to get it today, ran out of time... Wouldn't have thought more clues needed - it's pretty distinctive!

Job and rain for me. If I have another 3am spontaneous wake up in the next few days and it isn't raining I will strongly consider heading out.

So is the tag assessable in the evening/night, can no one answer?
In that case how near does the tag count?

• #24162
Definitely accessible all the time

Try putting the street names in or Oliver will forget you in his prayers. Sheffield Street.

Ive never played this, but have been enjoying catching up reading some of the thread. I know the tag above and may try to pick it up on the way home this evening if no one gets there first....
If I do, the clues that get posted are nearly always to cryptic for me....

Same here. I recognize or can find about half the tags. I understand about 5% of the clues.
How up to date is the map... comprehensively accurate to avoid any risk of retagging something that's not on there?
