What clues can I send to skydancer, especially if I get the wrong side of london.

The map's still there--link at the start of the thread.
I don't know who the principal map updaters are now, but I think @oat44 did the lion's share of the work early on? He started it, anyway. I think someone more recently made an effort to bring it up-to-date?
I've never updated the map, as you need a Google account to do it.
I think we should keep it secret from Skully, goodness only knows to what mischief it might inspire him.

Howard, have you done updating? Just looking at your post here:
-
• #22031
And Bruce seems to have been updating, too?
-
• #22032
Oh yes, and:
Who updates each entry? The person who firsr posted a tag or the person who finds it?
I suspect we'll never get to a routine in which the map's updated with each tag. It'll probably always be a couple of dedicated volunteers playing catch-up.

Or we could just be more relaxed about retags and accept that they are going to happen and just keep the game moving.
-
• #22034
@WillMethleyng, my main interest in the map is actually not checking for re-tags, but I just like seeing the map and how many tags have been done.

• #22035
Strange, the @ function's not working.
-
• #22036
Roger that.
-
• #22037
Come to think of it, one thing that's also important for preventing re-tags is to write things out that people might search for, such as Methley Street in the case of Charlie Chaplin's house.

• #22038
I did a bit a while back yeah. Might have been pre mini-howard though

It's a shame a lot of the earlier photos have started to disappear. I get pretty nostalgic looking through some of those tags

Elvis Costello wouldn't want to go there.

And it's not Kenny.

• #22044
This is what I thought you were referencing but then I second guessed my assumption

Yes, that's why pictures should be uploaded to the forum. I do think we should have a rule on that.

Looks like you caught her at the window.
As Theresa May said, before she flounced, an out of date map is worse than no map at all.
