Last tag could be a postcard, lovely.
I'm a very poor bricklayer, but I find the wall hilarious.
There must have been a pub nearby.well, there's one there now, very good one too, Nag's Head, great pizzas and back garden. And that wall is great I agree. I think looking at old drawings and photos, it's shifted over time, and while the timber frame angles were corrected in the renovations, the brickwork seems to have been preserved.

From 1430's apparently. In the 19th century, it was used as shops including a cycle shop.

Bloody shame it wasn't restored properly... that brick wall is an eyesore.

Actually, I found Midi's post amusing because the Bricklayer's Arms (junction of Hoe Street, Lea Bridge Road, and Leyton High Road) is also nearby. It's not a pub any more, but still the name of the junction. I had to wonder if it was meant as a clue.

It looks like the brick work was purposely done like that.
'The wall at ground level at Orford Road was built in 1934 to look as it were deformed Tudor brickwork. This 1934 architectural conceit, which was executed superbly by the bricklayer, has been retained as part of the history of the house.'
