  • Aha.

  • Outstanding.

  • Well I didn't expect to find that hidden in those alleys. Nice tag. Not wanting to hog the game I'll let someone else get it

  • For the new page.

    New

    Clue: Modern day Hibernia

Well found!! It's so peaceful there & you're only seconds away from the madness of London.

  • I think I've been in there when looking for a different tag, closeby - but for the life of me, I can't at the moment remember where exactly it was. Rough idea only.

  • Without the clues I'd never have found it

  • It's starting to come back to me - and if I'm right, I'm pretty sure it is inaccessible on Streetview.
My gob was truly smacked when I was there.
For the reason that signor gives above.

  • Not on street view...

  • Ok let's get this moving

  • Website say's only open 8am until dusk, might pop down tomorrow after work if no one else can be arsed.

  • Ok let's get this moving

Would so get this if it wasn't a 28 mile ride doubt this will stick around long

  • wheres the old one?

  • Well I didn't expect to find that hidden in those alleys. Nice tag. Not wanting to hog the game I'll let someone else get it

    Ok let's get this moving

    old
    new

  • Ok let's get this moving

Damn, forgot to grab it after the ride, despite having it pointed out. Not going back up there at this time of night tho.

  • Thanks for picking this up, Russell, but they're really poor tag pictures. :)

(When you posted the first picture, I thought you were only intending to use it to tease.)

  • I was, but thenvwhen nothing happened I figured I may as well move things along.

Here's a slightly better angle of the old tag, but without the bike in shot

It was on Ireland Yard, the entrance to the old Black Friars monastery. Shakespeare bought the gatehouse and lived there until he kicked the bucket.

Here's a better view of the new one. I don't know why I couldn't get anything other than the thumbnail on the phone last night

  • Doesn't the new tag violate rule 3?

    1. Tags must be within London (limits are the North and South Circular roads)
  • Rule 5 is the only one that really has to be followed.

  • Haha it would seem so. Anyway I can't see this taking anywhere near as long as the last tag.

  • Old: Soggy Chingford near the railway station

So, from ye olde record shoppe to ye olde bike shoppe...

  • That's a very old new tag!
    Nice work, Oat.

Has anyone been inside Record Detector? It seems interesting.

  • Last tag could be a postcard, lovely.
I'm a very poor bricklayer, but I find the wall hilarious.
There must have been a pub nearby.

  • Too soon for me to jump back in?...ok I'll jump back in

Old: Church Lane/Orford Road, Walthamstow E17

    New

Clue: IRA bombs & a pagan idol

  • taps fingers
7 minutes and still no new tag. I'd say this is still open....
