Yes.

....8 Hours will be plenty nuff.
8 Hours?
I thought I was going to miss all the fun.
-
• #279
mc_neb said that's how long he reckons his battery will last. 8 hours is, you're right to say it Ma3k, more than enough for a CM.

Hi folks, Im new to the site but not new to CM although I havent been on the rides for a while. Ive booked the night off work for this one so happy days. Hope you all have a good time.

Yeah kick-off can be any rime from 7-7.30. Starting mass = herding cats. Mind you I think if the forum starts shouting "do a skid" we'll all set off together.
With what likes like 100 people, we should effectively be able to herd quite easily. We could dictate the start pretty damn easily.

Thought that said 'I've booked the flight...'.
Committed.

@ Joe Yep!
Of course, if the lfgss contingent move off clearly making themselves intent on 'leading', distinctly attired, the rest of the mass might just let us ride on, and then go another way.
-
• #288
that would be disapointing tbh. Not quite as much fun...
-
• #289
is it just the forum people that meet at the stone circle?
-
• #290
the whole mass meets down in that area, forum guys ususally gather in/next to the stone circle, AFAIK. I've only done a couple of masses.
-
• #291
is it just the forum people that meet at the stone circle?
Well, it's not a gated area, other people might be there. The sheer size of this means that we'll be fairly obvious though.

• #292

Not necessarily that likely, just saying that the diehards among CM (some of whom post on here anyway) might not want to be led if people look like they're attempting to lead too obviously. I think the main thing is that we join CM this month. No plotting is needed, it'll be great. I'd like to be with CM to go to the accident sites, with us on board.

i know its not gated
i was just asking if all of us met there and then went down to another point where the whole mass meets -
• #294
The circle is only 10m > 20m from where the core of the mass meet. We're right beside the start line ;)
-
• #295
the thought of this many people on bikes together is making me even more excited than normal, to all intents and purposes, it will just be a massive mass, the same things will happen, the odd kerfuffle, a lot of vehicles waiting patiently as we pass, some bad trackstanding, some awesome trackstanding (me), dancers on bikes, clued- up lovely internationalist girls on lovely bikes, and a ride in London, for london, for LFGSS, http://www.criticalmasslondon.org.uk/main.html
EDIT-is that C.G about to be helicoptered into MI5 with the Milk Tray? (jan, stone circle in background)
