I'm amused that Doug thinks that all of the American teams will finish higher than London.
He appears to think that NA will take the clean sweep. -

This leaves 6 remaining slots. These slots will be played for in a preliminary tournament to be held in Berlin on August 12th.
Ok, so who wants to arrive early and compete for one of the 6 remaining slots? I am up for forming a team and am putting my services out there...
If your team did not make the cut, that does not mean there will be no polo for you this summer in Berlin. Of the four polo courts, two will be dedicated to pickup games.
The 2 dedicated throw-in courts means the weekend will be awesome regardless.

I finish work soon too and will train day and night.

Secret training is on young man... podium or death.

I'm thinking of going for maybe a week break to Berlin incorporating the Worlds.
I'd be well up for competing for one of the 6 slots.

"No one from London will place higher than anyone from North America" - Doug D
London has to step up and prove these guys wrong...
Doug D? Is that the same guy that got all bent out of shape about this?
I emailed him and offered to send him a shirt but he refused to send me his postal - notwithstanding that the image was actually found via a google image search, and not nicked from Flickr as he says... cock.

I am seriously considering going for the wild-card. But I'll have to see what the rest of the Beards say.
-
• #189
Get there, chuck your mallet in, see what happens... i'm deff in.
-
• #190
i dont get it, are people not going as teams?
-
• #191
Well, I wouldn't go without a team, preferably the Beards, but who knows?
-
• #192
We're hoping to go as a team too, joint 7th is a tough place to end up .
-
• #193
Is there a deadline to enter for the wildcard tourney?

what is a five hole goal?

Are the courts bigger in the states? Maybe that's why they don't need keepers all the time?
They do seem to keep going on about it though.

what is a five hole goal?
Under front and back wheel, bottom bracket and frame triangle?
Don't know how you could block those without breaking the rules.

I am sure he is, but to even think about making a fuss about a flier for a messenger benefit is pretty lame, especially when the flier was made by Braley, who is a mate of his. To me, he seems like a typical New Yorker, ie thinks that New York is the centre of the universe, inventor of fixie culture, bike culture, the bicycle itself etc and tells you about it at the top of his voice.
Ie, a cock.

Go on and on and on and on...
Fuck yes, but Rawbie fails by using Max as a benchmark of london's skill level.
