I would like to add my congratulations to Vince and his family for picking up a Gold at IWSC.
I have been buying - and selling - Champagne Lasseaux for about a year now. London is a better place for having Vince, and more importantly his wine, as a part of it.
Was also lucky enough to try the new Lasseaux Blanc de Blancs the other week - 'tis a cracker.

Price wise - it is definitely affordable.
However no details about grape variety, age of the blended wines or dosage. Also there aren't any details about the 'blind tasting' details either - and it doesn't look like a great one either as they have pitched Blanc de Blancs / Blancs de Noirs / other against each other.
Just like pitching bikes against each other with frames made of steel/alloy/carbon and without detailing the equipment. There will be a winner, that's for sure but do the results actually mean anything?
Anyway - all this to say that you should buy Champagne from my vineyard... Trade price for LFGSS and free London delivery (by bike!)

very true @Vince, and your champagne is lovely :)
from the guardian piece:
"The Co-operative Les Pionniers Champagne NV (£16.99, The Co-operative)
No apologies for returning once again to this tried and tested pinot noir, pinot meunier, chardonnay blend in this year’s festive 50. Made for the Co-operative by the excellent P&C Heidsieck, it’s still fabulous value, still wonderfully rich and biscuity with incisive acidity and creamy mousse, and still the standout supermarket own-label champagne." -

(and thanks for the additional Champagne datasheet).
We've just released our 2010 Blanc de Blancs this week - 1,000 bottles made in total.

We are a small Champagne grower family vineyard located in La Neuville Aux Larris, the heart of the Vallée de la Marne within the Montagne de Reims Regional Natural Park.
We pride ourselves in producing high quality, artisanal Champagne batches using Cuvée only.
Our current production is around 15,000 bottles a year only.As you can imagine, we do not have the retail price of big brands nor the marketing power but certainly make great Champagne and our Champagne recently won three IWSC 2015 awards this year:
->Gold Award for our Champagne Brut Classique (GOLD: 90 – 100 Superior example; setting the standard);
->Outstanding Silver Award for our Vintage Champagne (SILVER OUTSTANDING: 86–89 Outstanding example; excellent quality); and
->Bronze Award for our Rosé de Saignée (BRONZE: 75 – 79.9 Good example; well above average). We also been selected in the 2016 Guide Hachette Des Vins (Hachette Wine Guide) which is the best known and most sold wine guide in France.
There is more information about our range on our website - including technical data ( http://www.lasseaux.com ) and we also have an active Instagram account ( http://www.instagram.com/champagnelasseaux ).
All our Champagne range apart from the Millésime is made with 100% Pinot Meunier grapes which makes our Champagne very light, fresh and easy to drink.
It is unusual to find a 100% Pinot Meunier Champagne, especially here in London.

Whats the cost of getting 3-4 bottles dropped off on Saturday in Stockwell?

That looks like a good deal. Does anyone who knows about this stuff rate the 2004 Dom P vintage?
-

2003<2004<2002 I believe. I've had the 2002 and it was exceptional. For £75 it's worth it I'd say.

Oof good deal

I'd take Vince's offerings over pretty non-descript DP any day
taste per bubble per £ = win

Got an e-mail today about this:
http://www.letruscaciclostorica.it/en
It's a L'eroica style event on the Tuscan coast, includes a time-trial in Bolgheri - the epicenter of Super-Tuscanism. Went out there the year before last, well worth a visit.
Also, the Jangle household will be drinking Lasseaux at Christmas, 'natch.

We shall be drinking the Rose, the Vintage 2008 and the hot-off-the-press Blanc de Blancs, we call it the 'Holy Trinity' - never forget Christmas is a religious festival;)
