  • Damn that is quite the selection!

  • I've had Chateau Suduiraut a few times, always good. Lots of value in Sauternes imo, under priced for what goes into the wine and the quality.

  • @Tenderloin I have a half bottle of the second wine of a decent estate, happy to pass it on.

  • I got out of bedtime duties as today’s designated driver to my parents house so now also polishing off a Brunello di Montalcino!

  • Before the bell tolls on the forum maybe we should organise some kind of wine thing

  • And that’s exactly how it should be consumed - lying prone on the sofa!

  • I bought a bunch of Chapel Down when it was on offer as well at the Piper Heidseck monople (£12 per bottle!).
Both are great to drink, not too rich/buttery - neither is particularly complex but I think for the money super options. Bonus is I now have plenty for gifting.

  • Lovely

  • I'd be up for that

  • Enjoying a very nice Dow’s crusted port 2012. Tempted to open one of the vintage bottles, but with only two of us tonight would have been a struggle to get it consumed in one sitting. Golf club me see if I care.

  • One of the Janglette’s bought me this for Christmas.

    It’s delicious.
