feedbooks.com do really nicely formatted free epubs of classics. They would need converting for the kindle though.

My Paperwhite 3G shipped today... excited.

Just got a Galaxy Player 5.0, works very well as a reader, though obviously not e-ink.
I like that it's still pretty much pocketable; shows about half a regular book page.
This was a refurb and I payed $150 or so.
Pretty much a mini-er Ipad with mini sd card slot.

Everybody needs to keep in mind that Amazon only laid the smackdown because the previous owner of the Kindle fucked around with the DRM. Don't give them a reason to do it!
