There's a little dot under the titles show how much you have read.

Kobo speculated that it “likely proved daunting for some due to the length of the novel”.
Or, like Tartt's other books, it's a bit dull.

I got a voyage for xmas so have a well loved old wifi one, with physical keyboard, no light, no touchscreen. Going free to a good home.
It has a tiny dark spot on the screen which doesn't really hamper anything but is totally visible.

Has anyone had any succcess unbricking a kindle 4? I've been given one one that gets half way through booting and then hangs. You see the boy-reading-under-tree screen and the progress bar just sits at half way. Aparrently it was applying an update when the battery died so it must be a software issue and therefore it must be possible to fix.
I've tried using the Kubrick bootable usb stick which failed, and also tried manually follwing this guide with no luck.
If I can't get this one working then I'll be looking to replace the screen on my Kindle Keyboard - anyone done this, and was it difficult?

I've replaced a keyboard screen
It was easy peasy.I had two, one which was screen cracked and one which was fubarred in another way. Ended up with one totally working chimera.

How does the PagePress work, it says I don't need to lift a finger just apply pressure on the bezel, What with my finger?
Effortless page turns
NEW – PagePress allows you to turn the page without lifting a finger. Simply apply pressure on the bezel to turn the page, and PagePress will provide a silent haptic response for consistent and immediate feedback. -

On the voyage?
Yeah, its a button that isn't a button. You rest your finger on the edge and then sort of squeeze, rather than press.
I use it when I am holding the kindle one handed or when my thumb falls naturally on the edge. If you need to stab at it like a button it doesn't work well, but in that instance you can touch the screen to page turn instead.
It's great.

Child no.3 has borked my keyboard kindle screen. @mashton - is replacing the screen easy for ham-fisted types? Can't afford a new one currently (although amazon have given me £15 towards one which is generous considering how old it is) so figure it might be worth a go - though I completely failed when doing it on a nintendo ds..

I managed it pretty easily. Go for it.

I may have one knocking about, BTW. Fifteen quid would seem a good price.
I'll look.

I also replaced the screen on my kindle keyboard after stepping on it. It was pretty easy, just followed a guide online. Like this one: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Kindle+3+Screen+Replacement/29843
Is there a way to figure out which you have and havent read using Kindle?
Preferably on Amazon as ive lost 3 Kindles and their obv tracking of the books ive read.
