Interesting point especially during winter.. I ride way more miles on tarck-beater than I ever get round to on poncy weekendbiek, so most of the goodshit I buy is for tarck-beater.

Things like headsets and tyres, saddle, tape etc sure. Everything else on my Bike2 is;

.....in exactly that order.

Dig it. Liking the silver crown and stem combo. Not a big fan of the F5 ring on this built though. No heft to compliment the rest of the bike.

I would go back to the Alpina fork and whatever stem and chainring it had before. too much tweaking can ruin a good thing.

Alpina match the frame better IMHO, but the Wound Up still look decent.

It's cool but I don't see the rat, just a dutty hhsb.

So my custom, but it still not a rat.

There's a messenger with whom I often share the same route into town of a morning who rides an absolute, Grade A rat bike. Daren't ask to take a picture of it though as he looks a little intimidating. He has a West Ham badge sewn on his backpack and a very loud ding-dong bell if anyone here know's who I mean!
