Yeah no more pink resprays haha. Was a poor decision last time but this paint isn't gonna get touched apart from a clearcoat to protect it from it descending into true rattyness.

*standard with use I learned, buy cheap buy twice etc

I'll be using a 12v lead acid cell, not light but should last a while.

Replace each pair of alkaline cells with one 3.2v LiFePO4 cell.

I <3 LiFePo for my receivers but I dunno they're quite expensive.

May end up with quill woundups, the other pair I bought have different dropouts, if the a2c is the same making them tighter, I'll put the quill pair on this and the threadless pair on the road build (was planning on going the other way round)

Interesting point especially during winter.. I ride way more miles on tarck-beater than I ever get round to on poncy weekendbiek, so most of the goodshit I buy is for tarck-beater.

Aye, this is the only bike I'm really riding at the moment. Don't even have a road bike built up. It's not a beater but is a bit beat up, tough reliable and comfortable parts are what it's about.
