  • its worked! that is a beaut! although i cannot get along with that brake lever!

Haha I know right, on there for emergencies, will remove the whole thing when I man up...

  • its not the brake that i cant get along with, its just the angle of the lever really, i hate the dilemma of wanting small risers and a brake lever. brakeless it is.

  • Then put on bigger risers!

  • ^ yeah agreed indra, not saying i currently have said problem.

(but then you cant squeeze through as many gaps)

  • Hows does that help? Am I just being stupid here aha?

  • might as well use an old road frame with standard horizontal dropouts... who needs chain pensioners really?

    behave

  • I own a pomp which wears full mudguards but if I want to remove the rear wheel I have to undo the mudguard mount down at the track end. It's a massive PITA but the low cost of the pomp along with it being right in every other way make it a worthwhile compromise.

Just use these black doodahs on the rear as well as the front. Problem solved.

  • Look what I've started. Jesus Christ.

  • raceblades are crap

    Trains are crapperer

  • ^^^ That, as I was gonna say.

  • The only time I´ve seen similar dropouts was in some low end spanish BMX bikes.

    Calling that bmx is blasphemy

  • Trains are crapperer

have you tried cycling? It's fucking awful

  • Only pricks cycle.

    And the Tempo;

  • These two are perfect.

But all this talk of eccentric hubs, conversions and mudguards can go get lost in some other part of the forum.

  • Discussions tend to take place spontaneously, and will and ebb and flow, then go. You don't need to worry your pretty little head about it.

  • Tired and grumpy. Ignore me.

  • Reader's wife: nascent winter bike build with an old Charge Plug frame

  • bent fork on that kalavinka? really worn chain/chainring also.

  • reminds me of my all time favourite rat

  • This was locked up in the trains station this morning, very nice and big boned too
