Bugbrave what bars are those?
They're unbranded mate, ebay bargain again :). I had to cut them down but I figure they're just old steel mountain bike bars.

Anyone else decide that lowrider bikes look so sweet that you gotta get one. Then you get one and realize it's trying too hard to kill you every time you get on it, so sell it.

they ride like shit, i hated riding mine, i used it for a few weeks when i broke the fingers on my hand as i didn't have to have any weight on the bars, all it was useful for

It is actually my daily ride and only bike at the mo. It's a 54tt and 49st, fits me good at 5ft.9''. I've never known the maker which kills me!! The old owner said it was British made 50's era but I don't know how reliable that is considering he clearly didn't know much about bikes. looks more like 60's era to me, the forks are Rixon 531's that I had cut to size.
Would be really hard to part with it but maybe one day. Cheers tho! :)
Looks like a carlton to me with the wrap over seat stays and the head tube lugs.

Yeah, I did think Carlton based on the lugs but I couldnt find one with the exact same lugs tho. If I do end up gettin decals I'll probs get carlton ones but I cant find any numbers on the frame to I.D. it.

^ Carlton was my first thought, but couldn't find a decent match. That said, there are plenty of other british builders that featured tubular wrapover stays, BSA and Raleigh for a start...
-
• #5835
yeah i at least know many builders did the same design, not very helpful at all :/

^^^ Have you looked here? http://www.carltoncycles.me.uk/details.htm

Very useful site, helped to identify my frame.Cheers mate, but yeah I bin all over that site and couldn't find a match. Like the other guy's said, there were a shed load of builders making em like this so I dunno :/

Exactly what happened when I got one.

Do I get extra rat-slave points for riding a home-repaired tubular tyre, brakeless on clincher rims today cos I'm too lazy to repair an inner tube!
(or do I just get "deathwish-plonker" points?

Not sure what to class mine as...
Frame is original raleigh paint and is pretty scruffy so ill call it a beater!

Just looks like your first fixie, nothing more

Class. Liking that cockpit a lot

I love those 3TTT Pro Chrome stems, I've got a few of them set up with different bars (including my NJSBeater on the last page). That bike is really nice, are those forks copper plated?
Please excuse the nightmare saddle going on behind this one, I will never understand Gaston's saddle choice and positioning.

i love the way the stem slops a bit, matches the bend in the seat post nicely i think

that frame was on sale on here a while back
I personally thin these stems look bad, but they have many followers for some reason
Are those LA84's?
