For a 90-odd KM ride? Come off it. This isn't Paris-Roubaix.

I really enjoyed HOTN! It reminded me of my teenage mountain biking, which inevitably meant that I gunned it at the nearest sign of mud and I ended up finishing 45 min ahead of my friends. I think I might buy a Cx this winter...

It wasn't - did he have a purple jersey on? I didn't crash fortunately - thought I was guaranteed to have a comedy stationary fall as it was so hard to unclip for most of the ride.

Lucky escape! The other guy came of twice, I think -- was riding with some RCC people, one of which was wearing a purple rain jacket.
Enjoyed the route, and the chips. Did not enjoy the 4 hours of whining from the front and rear brakes, both cocooned in mud.

i saw him do it. he remained remarkably happy considering the situation!
-
• #423
What did he actually do?
If I was him, I'd be pretty pleased that I hadn't broken both my arms!
-
• #424
he hit a big boulder at speed on one of the off road sections. he did fall off pretty hard but was up and laughing fairly quickly and seems happy at the pub later so I don't think much damage was done

Typical performance from a Moots...
To my great surprise I got an entry. Anyone else?
