This afternoon in West Acton I turn right on a smallish roundabout near the tube only to have a black cab pull a u-turn from the kerb with no indication. I pull a sweet skid and he then hits a car parked opposite, he gives me a "silly me" look waves and speeds off. I take his numberplate and give it to the owner who has just appeared.

I think what I did was appropriate. Plus I didn't have any rope.

There's no such thing as attempted manslaughter, as manslaughter implies "it were an accident, officer, I swear I didn't mean to and he just threw himself under my vehicle, honest guv".

what should I do about this? Driver is parked on a double yellow, mounted curb and has crossed the unbroken white line (I swear you arent allowed to cross these under and circumstances?) and is such forcing riders of the cycle lane that he has completely blocked to come out into the wrong direction of a one way street.

Shows a clear disregard/misunderstanding of road rules a professional driver should have knowledge of/not break.

Yeah I googled the plates but no returns except an italian site that lists plates. Guessing this has come all the way from the med to break our proudly under-enforced laws.
