Just reported a driver to the Police for the first time, impatient fuck was beeping at me and practically touching my rear wheel so I moved over to the left to get out of his way when we he pulled up along side me and repeatedly swerved at me and tried to ram me off the road.

The driver was not charged. He was brought in for interview and initially claimed provocation, that I kicked his van and kicked him in the chest. He changed his story when told there was video evidence. He still claimed I kicked him and the van and only after the officer pointed out that she couldn't see any of that, on his solicitor's advice he finally accepted full responsibility.

Because he had no police record and admitted to the offence, under the ridiculous scoring system imposed on the police he was eligible for a caution. As the victim I was given the choice of the driver receiving a caution or I could accept a local resolution, the terms of which that I would receive an amount in compensation and a written apology. I'm far from happy about it but reluctantly accepted the resolution. I don't think the police are to blame but the decisions made by Government departments that govern them.

This was a violent, unprovoked attack that has no place in society and I'm very disappointed and angry that the driver will not face criminal consequences.

A caution? for that? Outrageous.

Bloke chase cyclist, commit assault, and received caution.

fucking hell that's outrageous. a) the cyclist clearly tried to just get away and was chased down b) he did well to avoid a dooring which could have been really nasty.

I can't hear anything in video, but was there's some exchange when the cyclists shook his head twice when waiting for the car to reverse park?

Just reported a Dangerous HGV driver to PoPo. Anyone else who was cycling from Lea Bridge Road through to Dalston Junction via Hackney Downs, I saw a fair few cut up by this fool, please report it. (as i already have)

I challenged him at DJ as the lights were red, apparently, this driver seems to think cyclists should be no more than 6 inches from the curb no matter what the road surface. he also thinks it's fair game to swerve in realy sharp on cyclists - including a lady cyclist who screamed at what nearly happened to her. Sitting within inches of my rear wheel from Dalston Lane near Travis Perkins and up to Dalston Junction I stayed about 4 foot from the curb - apparently I have no right to be there and deserve to be knocked off! Said driver seemed to think he did nothing wrong, was perfectly in his right to use the road and that all cyclists should 'fuck off and die'...... No level of interaction in a conversation, every question answered with fuck off, two other cyclists also received the same vitriol of abuse.......So he's reported. Principally because he's dangerous, and an utter cunt.

Oh yeah, last week I saw a sparkly new white Mercedes ram purposefully into the back of a cyclist. She was ok and was with someone so I sped off after him, tried to get him to stop and face the music but he was a bit scary and I didn't want to get into a scrap in the middle of the road. He didn't consider himself in the wrong but as soon as the police sirens turned up he sped off down a side alley. Makes me wonder what he was so keen to run from. I lost him around Holborn and the coppers lost him too.

I emailed them my account and the car details, but I'm pretty sure it won't go any further. Apparently he was fucked off because the cyclist was riding in the middle of the road. So his response was to use his 2 tonne car as a weapon. What a fucking gent eh?

Your g/f's Klein is the two tone one right? (i.e. not linear fade, but colour changing?) That is a very specialist paint, I know there is a guy that specialises in Klein paint, I will look his details up. Strangely I have a fork that colour in my shed!
