Had a splendid time on the Tweed Run yesterday, and met many splendid people, many of whom are probably on this forum. I'd love to know who was who, so have risked the wrath of the New Thread Police to start this companion thread to Names and Faces to Bikes. (£1 donation on its way).
It's also an excellent excuse to show of your outfit one more time.
To start:
S.Walrus, riding the Penguin Books inspired Walrus Flyer.
(edit: busted by the New Thread Police, which is a shame, as I thought it would be nice to have a thread to help people identifiy each other without getting derialled by more general discussion, and without it just being on the tenth page on the thread about the ride, rather than the riders)

Teddy,
Are there any spoke cards left for purchase? I bought one at the start, along with the fine enamel badge, and promptly managed to lose it en-route. I believe East End Images suffered a similar loss.
Thank you again for such a wonderful day. You should be so proud that all your hard work resulted in such a professionally ran event that brought so much joy to so many people. I'm smiling as I look at the pictures and feel kind of naked cycling this morning without heavy wool and a moustache in my peripheral vision.

not my video btw, but well done to whoever made it. i'm sure there are going to be lots of them. Has anyone seen anything in the press about the event? I would have thought it was on the local news at least

Awesome, I'll definitely take a spoke card. Will they be sold through the Tweed Run shop or direct from yourself/nominated persons?

i'll probably bring them 'roudn with me for the next week or so, but yeah i'll put them on the shop, too

It's been said many times above, but I don't think that is any reason not to say it again. Well done Teddy and Jacqui for organising the whole shebang and thank you very much to the marshals and everyone else for making it go so smoothly!
I had a lovely time and am already looking forward to next year. I am also finding it very hard to give up the tweed and facial hair, if only every day could be tweed run day.
Chapeau! all round.

Glad to see it all went so well and the weather was so good.
Brendan looks like a 1930s Chicago mafioso with a machine gun in this:
A slightly unfortunate impression of his camera. :)
And great to meet Tarik from Seattle too.
