I have always eaten meat and enjoy it, I do understand we produce alot of excess meat which goes to waste and would rather prepare my own, this would be what I was looking for, maybe reduce my meat intake as i hear to much is bad for you (I think the vegans made that up)

I'd be up for getting one. No control over how the animal lived and died is what stop me from eating meat today. Could I keep my own cattle / pigs / chickens and kill them in an appropriate manner I'd be happy to do so

Have killed and eaten plenty of meat. but much like computer repairs, sewing sofa covers, dry cleaning, vegetable growing, cow milking and pasteurisation, train driving, airplane piloting, bread baking, coffee roasting, cotton growing and weaving, bike manufacture etc etc i pay the experts for the convenience and let them deal with the investment in training, infrastructure and general day to day running of the service.

it's a daft idea, as there are no parallels. we don't have to make a car or brew some alcohol or whatever to get the corresponding licenses.

that said, i'd be happy to get mine in the preposterous hypothetical eventuality of this becoming law. but it's so impractical. we have developed as a civilisation that has specialists. if everyone had to do everything to provide for themselves, we would have very basic tech and very little art. who are these jackasses?
