    ?

  • Grow up and fuck off.

  • Grow up and fuck off.

Mooooo0o0o0o0oooo! milk me wear me any way you want toooooo

  • buuuuutt.... this is just hilarious. I popped round to buy a chrome road fork earlier to replace my track ones. I know they carry an impressive range. I asked Jan if he could quick give me the prices of a few and he asked me to come back in 30min because he wanted to eat..... and it was dead quiet.

I thought he was joking so I stood around for a bit. He's wasn't joking though, he stood at the counter, opened a Chinese and looked at me. I'm not exagerating. His assistant awkwardly stepped in and asked if he could help before I took my business elsewhere...

I'm sorry but that's appalling. They have some great stock but fucked customer service. FUCKED!

  • I wouldn't help you on my lunch break?

  • That's all you can expect really. Every one know's that they have good stock but its overpriced the customer service is really really bad. I am sure it will bite them on the ass one day soon.

  • ha! not doing themselves any favors...they're just lucky they still have the custom of the hip hop hipster community.

  • surely a debate requires points from both sides?

  • I wouldn't help you on my lunch break?

I'm afraid a business cant come to a standstill during a lunch break. Lock the doors if that's the case.

  • You said yourself there were other employees in the shop? And should he take his break when it's busy? And he was obviously planning this as he already had the Chinese food.

    edit.

  • BLB is not evans. Good thing too.

  • I thought you said his assistant stepped in?

Most bike shops are busiest over lunch times and saturday mornings. Man needs to eat at some time of the day. But I can't work out what time of day you said you were there...

  • he already had the Chinese.

Horatio dude youre the other side of the pond and youre still busting my chops man... F you! ;)

  • it sounds pretty rude to me...whether he had planned to eat his lunch then or not.customers come first not lunch, its about time they learnt that.

  • true dat,
lunch on a week day must be one of the busiest times.

  • Sounds rude to me too.

  • BLB is a joke

glad that shin and me are still able to post here lol

Customer service could have been better if he decided not to eat his lunch at the moment, sure. But should he get slack for it? Is it worth starting a thread because he didn't abandon his lunch for a few minutes? This is just silly to me.

And Ray, I'll have you any where, any time, on any continent!

This post is dumber than the Brixton one from a few weeks ago (speaking of Brixton, I was there the other week and the customer service I got from one guy was above and beyond. Best I've had in London. Only ended up buying a crank remover though, so I felt a bit bad).

If he politely said "I'm gonna have my lunch in a second, speak to my colleague over there" or alternatively called his colleague over..then yes fair enough. It was handled really badly.

I would head to Brixton if it were a little closer, I agree their service is spot on.

    +1.

  • maybe he just doesn't like you
