  • So, this bloke came up to me and said "Can you tell me your availability to run a football club in Sheffiled?" I said "I can't manage Wednesday"

  • goodnight all

  • What's the veal like?

  • How the fuck can mechanical vandal put words in your mouth VanUden, when its got dani foffa's cock in it,

Surely this can't be right? I thought VanUden was really Dani Foffas mum.

  • Surely this can't be right?

Funnily enough that's what your mum said last night when I wiped my cock on her curtains :)

  • mum jokes!

  • Funnily enough that's what your mum said last night when I wiped my cock on her curtains :)

Would you really say that ^ to my face in a pub talking about this over a beer? You wouldn't would you.

    :)

  • I didn't start the trash talk, that was reculver and now you. So don't blame me if I defend myself in the only way you seem to understand. As it happens I'll whip your arse at it. Well I would if you didn't get off on it so much :)

And no none of this is the sort of thing that would ever be said face to face over a beer (not a veiled threat by the way but a genuine opinion) unless it was with a mate you knew really well and you knew would take it as a joke. It's a pity really but hey if you can't beat them... Oh sorry, I forgot you clearly get off on that sort of thing :)

At least that what your mum says when her mouth isn't full :)

    Repped.
While I don't agree with your stance on Foffa you're giving as good you're getting. Bravo.

  • now now joel,i thought i had kissed and made up with foffa's #1 fan ;-).as for whipping someones arse at it,some people pay good money for that kind of thing.as for me and trash talk...would i never

Ha ha, I'm not sure how you took my suggestion that you might be Dani Foffas mum as trash talk. I was merely making light hearted comment on your relentless defence of him and his bikes and for that you've massively disrespected my mother twice! Bloody good job we're not in the pub :)

  • OK, OK, this is getting silly and at the rate the forum is going through popcorn it's probably also causing all manner of ailments. Chris, reculver, let's agree to disagree like grown-ups, no offence intended. This bitching between us is also diverting the thread from the single point I made earlier and have made again over the last few pages.

That point being. Despite not doing himself any favours (posting the concept bike here was at best a bit naive) DF deserves a fighting chance now he's trying to turn things around. And if you as a member of this forum can't give him that much, it says more about you than it does about Dani Foffa.

I'm going to give it a break now before I start sounding even more like a broken record than I already do.

    That is all. Peace :)

  • Yeah, I think this has been done to death. With any luck Foffa will come out with something good next time and we can all heap praise on him for sorting his shit out. You never know, it might happen :)

Nobody on this forum (apart for you maybe) is likely to buy a Foffa as most people (apart from you maybe) feel they are overpriced and the alternatives are a better bet.

Why exactly should he be given a fighting chance and why does it say more about me than it does about Foffa? All it says about me is that I am not a mug.

If he was offering a competitive, relatively good product then fine but as he isn't then why should I pay over the odds. Is it some sort of charity deal?

  • +1^^^^^kerley

  • Why?

    ^This.
Foffa doesn't deserve anything in the cycling market, he has to earn it like everybody else.

  • get foffa bikes

  • get them

  • now

  • I must admit I would have never thought that a brand like ours would get so much debate.

Chris Borneo, sorry we haven't fed your addiction for a couple of days, we have been too busy running a business but if you check the past posts of this thread we have always gone back and responded on the forum. As you may have seen we had events on this weekend where we displayed our products for people to try out and the feedback was great all around. We have also moved last week to a bigger shop and clearly this didn't allow us to entertain you on this forum on a daily basis.

A big thank you for VanUden and a few others for giving us a chance and understand what the implications of trying to run an honest business in the current climate is like. We really appreciate your support and if you wanna join us for a drink at some point feel free to swing by.

Oz, the initial lo pro bike design actually uses a very similar frame geometry from the 14bike lo pro and a few others, so clearly I am not making this one up. As for the Ciao and all our future products we make sure that they pass all the stress and fatigue tests required by British Standards. So although some of you might think our frames are odd-looking, they are not released until they are all fully road-legal.

Mechanical vandal and a few others, all our concept bikes have gone through a lot of discussions with many bike and design enthusiasts (some of which with a lot of years of experience behind their back). The lo-pro is still in its early stages and may or may not ever make it into production. The point being is we are not about following the sheep and repeating designs which have been done thousands of times before. You are entitled to your personal opinion but you don't necessarily have to slag us off considering our prices are not 'overpriced' compared to similar bikes within our market range.

What's been interesting is the amount of people that this forum has helped to drive into the shop to come and see the products for themselves and every single time the feedback has been great.
In reference to MDCC Tester we have said it before and say it again, we personally invite all of those with an attitude to come and speak to us directly at the shop or in the pub. Our shout for the beers!
Having said this MDCC Tester, clearly you know a lot about your stuff and you have given us plenty of valuable feedback already, so thank you for it and if you get the chance to come down to the shop I ll make sure you ll be looked after.

We certainly don't appreciate being accused of not paying people for their advice. We have paid and still are paying people to help us shape the company and its products. We also have talented fans of our brand that are willing to dedicate their skills and energy to see us grow without expecting anything back. As a result we always made sure they got something back in return.

We are expanding and always looking for people with various talents and would like to propose those that feel that can do a better job with our designs to tender for some of our upcoming projects.
The first brief is simple: to design a lo pro bike that they feel is the ultimate lo pro bike according to specified frame measurements. It will be posted on the forum and reviewed by the masses.

WARNING: To apply for this tender you will need thick skin, a sense of humor, and a willingness to be slagged off by pretty much everybody. In the event that the frame passes the testing and the slagging we will consider putting it into production and share the profits with you.

We look forward to receiving all the tender applications from those of you that think they can do a better job. As I dont have the time to check this forum regularly please send me an email directly on dani@f0ffabikes.com

On that note, it s a beautiful day, my only day off during the week and I am off for a ride. Please don't get upset if you don't hear from me for a few days!!
