I bought a road bike for a tenner from a council recycling centre.Old bikes are easy to source cheaply .We have a large jumble sale here annually, in last years I bought a mixte frame Claud Butler in full 531 for £12 which is probably a lot better than the majority of Foffa frames.

Yeah but by the time you powder coat at £200, add brakes at £300, wheels at £300 etc,. it soon adds up.

More PMs from the lovely Hacked2;
Sorry
I was laughing at a picture of you ......
You need to get a life young man ........... do you have to share your opinion on EVERYTHING.
It is really tiresome to see you contributing to almost every single thread. Here's suggestion .......... why don't you meet Dani face to face and actually look at the bikes and even ride a few.
Then you would have an informed opinion.FFS Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

The other parts of the PM were childish and uncalled for .................... I am sorry
Whatever is posted on here is going to be torn to shreds so I will not post responses.
I will just have to try to source better components and better frames and hope that the future bikes meet the approval of the panel of judges here.
My apologies again for any offence I have caused.

Just a thought, but instead of wasting more of your time on this forum by slanging matches, you could perhaps be as bold as Dani and answer some of the points raised here. They key point being the shoddy mechanics, which one could assume would offend the said mechanic.
There is scope to put paid to this entire thread and damning of your new company here. -
• #194
Thats not very nice
and what do you do for a living Miro ?
hacked2, why do you have to be such a dick to the other users of this site. Sending nasty PMs is just sleazy and cowardly.
Have you done your disclosure yet?
http://foffabikes.com/?page_id=7
Number 2 on the list... you've made millions from being in the bike business. Then why do you have such a complex about what some guys on a forum say? You're clearly a success anyway. Just chill the hell out and drop being so rude to people.
And don't even think of sending pseudo-legalese rubbish and demands to me like you did in 2008, I don't really care.

Ewwwwwwwwwwww
I had no interest at all in this thread till you said you were laughing at a picture of Ed. Is that it? That's your comeback? Laughing at his picture? And you are how old, exactly?
Anyway Ed has a lovely face and it surmounts a body of Greek perfection. -

I think it's because he's just found out that he didn't have to spend £100 on brakes

Yep, that's £70 of lost profit on each bike sold. That's gotta hurt.

I've resisted posting, but I can't help but chuck in my 5p...
There's nothing wrong with making money by marking products up,
If ppl really want value for money they can always hunt around,
If you accept 1 and 2 are correct why bother trying to justify your mark up? Its your business run it how you want and stop justifying your prices with BS £100 brake examples!
Fair play for having a 1yr warranty and make sure all your bikes are safe.
If you are representing a business pls be professional!
ghey
