Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/292100349587
Just saying like...
Or for less than your annual insurance....

Man that insurance is savage. I think I used to pay around three hundred and something quid for a GSXR1000, garaged in WC1. When my first one was nicked back in 2008, the next year only went up about 15% or so! That's a bummer dude.

I don't want to sound ungrateful but you're just linking me to things I don't want (after I've bought something else) because they cost less.

Fuck it mate. Go with where your heart is. Cut out expenses through other avenues if you need to balance it all out. Why settle if you're not gonna enjoy it.

My bike is currently parked in the underground car park of westminster, five floors underneath Big Ben. Looking forward to finding out if they count the postcode as extremely safe, or prone to criminal activity...

White collar crime doesn't count.

Westminster discount. Keep the oil burning.

Is that restriction on pre-2007 bikes in central London coming to fruition?

Mega!
If I were you, I'd lock it through the frame. Must be able to somewhere?
And I'd dig a hole in that concrete and bury a ground anchor, so I could park the bike onto of the anchor and then chain through the frame. And a bigger chain, a 19mm pragmasis. -

Nice! Really like those. Are you being gentle with the run in, or going the TT method? Have fun!
-
• #9690
If the 60 miles I've just done are anything to go by, I'm using the TT method.
The quick shifter is going to get me in a lot of trouble.

Just renewed my Vespa for £135. North West London.
Probably not going to buy a big bike again, because the Primavera is just about the most fun you can have on two wheels. -

Well done. Your picture looks better than the one used for magazines and websites that you posted earlier.
If you haven't already; get a cover to keep prying eyes off it.
If they can't see it, they can't start to think of ways to steal it. -

Woohoo. I've never had a bike with a quickshifter but I love the little pop they make changing up. Is it still mandatory to fit a loud pipe to triples? Should be....
-
• #9694
I may consider louder pipes at some stage.
The 'oem' akrapovic ones around £1k though...!
Considering how much I dropped on this, I should probably reign in the spending for a couple of months.

were you out on it today with another rider who was riding a harley davidson? you were looking pretty cool in your jeans on the old kent road if it was you.

Nah, proper motorbike boots.
The only time I'd wear something not proper boots is just around town. But still, I'd get something more secure than that. Feet are precious and fragile.

Why the mt09 instead of the tracer? Never asked...
