  • Good bike for exploring the wilds up there. Or a round the world trip!
    Get on it :)

  • Really strong bikes - was talking to a guy in the mountains of Northern India who'd ridden one alll the way from Darlington.

  • The motor is a good one. Brilliant engine in the bagherra

  • Had a go on a 675r from the guy I bought leathers from. Shit balls......that was not a smart move.

  • yeah they are wicked motors

  • May Day ride out - Hastings

  • Turns out the trip was worth it.

  • The holes in the swingarm....(view pics on the link.) Why?

  • Hmm, yeah, that welding looks like someone has gone crazy with toothpaste.

  • It's odd isn't it.

I was just doing some random searching of Bandits and came across that.

(been watching del boy's garage and now want a 1200 for rat bike)

  • That's a bandit

  • Wondering what you were talking about, then I looked at the pictures.

    Arc welder?

Suspect that the swing arm is ally and welding ally mean ac tig.

  • I think it's just epically shit welding. I'd be embarassed by that if I purported to be a specials builder.

Cracking motors though - there used to be an 883 big bore kit for the bandit 600 that turned it into a monster. Love those old oil boilers.

  • Absolutely bananas mad but not in an uncivilized way. That triple starts yanking your spine from next to nothing.
Any apart from excess, annoyingly enough not much more to insure then the SV

  • You know your welding is bad when it makes the factory Suzuki efforts look good...

I know it's someone's pride and joy but for the amount of money they spent on that they could have just bought a GS1200SS and had change to tart it up if that was their thing.

  • Ooops... kind of changed my order a bit:

  • What influenced you?

  • Still can't decide if I like the way they look. Or they're offensive to my eyes!

    I heard they're great though!

  • Awesome!

    Chuck a

    and a

....and you've got the perfect commuter.

To continue the theme of my boring boot chat, I've discovered these:

which I reckon strike the perfect balance. They are also available in red for the sort of people who rock neon yellow rims ;)

  • The things:

    1. The wife doesn't appear massively fussed about touring much and we would probably just rent a massive bike if we did
    2. I saw one in the flesh today

I'll probably end up wrapping the grey to matte black but we'll see...

  • I saw the MT10 tourer edition. Looks like a transformer.

I love the Hella Yella wheels.

  • Great boots. They look very similar to aerostich combat touring boots (made by sidi)
