Thanks, it's coming. I might try to edit the footage nicely if I have the patience, we shall see. Yes a good day although feel thoroughly knackered now. New top speed of 155mph, which strangely didn't even feel that fast but I did have a couple of 'moments', small tank slapper and the rear wheel sliding and stepping out mid corner. I thought I was coming off but obviously backed of the throttle slow enough. Such a weird feeling of the rear moving sideways! Anyway I will certainly post it up when I've compiled the footage.

Good to hear that you're taking the time to enjoy the experience too. All the best for tomorrow.

Just out of interest - can any of you on recommend any other forums for this type of thing? I'm looking to expand my knowledge on joys of the other two wheeled type of transport. CBT minus 1 day for me now. Exciting times.

-

You can't deny a nod. Sacrilege. I have yet to initiate a nod though.

You might remember I went to Vietnam last year and rode a Minsk. Well I finally whittled 3000+ photos to 318 and did some post processing. Here's the weapon itself:

A massive generalisation but plods become OK when on a bike. I have had many run ins with them, and been treated completely differently than by those in cars, even though they swap from one to the other.
I always nod. -
• #5137
I did nob....
.definitely to nod, or ..............
it was lovely riding to bruge and st malo last year. every motorcyclist on the other side of the road bar none stuck their right leg out.

Nicely done, Sir. Ditch those L plates - they ruin the lines of the PCX.
-
• #5144
well done soul
how did you find the test and did you sail through it?
-
• #5145
Test was good. 49/50 on theory and 65/75 for hazard perception.
The only thing which bugged me is the amount of interpretation on the hazard perception. Is a traffic calming measure a hazard? Is someone walking along with a child a hazard etc etc.
re: the PCX, i think i will be investing in one of these before long:

well done on test - yeah it is a bit open to interpretation - some of the hazard videos you could click at loads of little things
-
• #5147
i would say person with child is a hazard , even more so person with a dog on a lead. their unpredictability makes them a situation changer that you have to be ready act upon.
i wonder what the highest score is on hazard perception. -
• #5148
I found myself trying to second guess myself but passed so can't have been that bad.
The maximum possible score is 75 and I got 65.
-
• #5149
I failed it first time by one point - ONE point, I was massively livid

I had a sit on an NC750 at Goodwood - loved it. Apparently the old one was boring but this is better, and still ludicrously cheap to run.
Brake are death.
