Anyone want a 1996 JDM NC29 CBR400RR Babyblade?
Dad wants rid since my mum is adamant she will have a nervous breakdown if I ride it.
A mere 28000 km, still limited to 112mph, a few cosmetic marks but it's sound.
No tax or test as it's been in the garage undercover, but it flew through last time.
£1500 ono
Stick it on 400greybike and then the usual places bike places. If you give me a heads up can stick ad for you up on a few places PM me and we can discuss.

I've just started searching (on Gumtree, in local small-ads) for shared lock-up / garage space in E5 for an NTV650 I'm bringing down from my folk's place in Scotland next week.
Does anyone happen to have or know of affordable space to share somewhere in or around Clapton? I don't need daily access, it's probably just going to be used for weekends.

Took the Domi for a test run yesterday, out of south London about 40 miles round down to Cobham in Surrey and back. Didn't miss a beat and seems happiest idling at about 1500 / 1600rpm. I got the feeling it would happily sit at 70mph at about 5000rpm in top all day.
Front brake is very sharp with the new pads and braided steel hose it pulls the bike up very swiftly :)

Sorry didn't get that far, seemed like a dick on a bike and another dick in a car.

Really enjoyed the vid, subscribed to him but must have missed it first time round.
Fire up those engines, the weekend is here!

Looks like fun, but it's probably near to suicide for me to buy that as a first bike. Actually leaning (carefully) towards a Vespa at the moment.

Glad you've got her back on the road where she belongs! I really had neglected her for so long.... I'd love to see more pics if you've got any.

It was quite a tricky job in the end mostly due to the petrol having turned into Satan's treacle both in the tank and the carb, which needed stripping rebuild kit with new gaskets and jets, ultrasound clean, reconditioned (recon by me) second-hand fuel tap, new fuel hoses, plug, all filters, new battery, tyres, etc. All the stuff you'd expect really but more of a recommission than just a clean up and service. Then there were a few fuelling faults that needed ironing out but turned out to just be a couple of blocked breathers, after much swearing and head scratching!
However, I took the opportunity to do a few extra jobs like replacing the standard horns with 120db monsters! Stainless brake hose, repainted the exhaust and painted the various chips and scrapes red again plus got the cracked panels plastic welded - just a general tidy really :)
Really pleased with the results, if you PM me your email again Steve (can't find it weirdly) I'll take some snaps when my camera's back from being serviced and send them to you. Cheers.

Chap on a motorcycle swerved at me this morning to "punish" me for holding him up, I imagine he didn't intend on hitting me, just passing close enough to impress me with his huge manliness, and to ensure that I would respect his need to go faster than the other traffic in future.
Anyway- I am operating on the assumption that there is nothing to do done in this situation mid-swerve other than hoping the motorcyclist doesn't actually want to hit you?
i.e. 250kg of bike plus 90kg of rider is going to win an argument with 7kg of bike and 80kg of rider.

Not really. All I could think would be to unclip and stamp on his foot/toes.
If he's coming from the right you'll knock him into a lower gear, from the left; jam on his rear brake. Neither good for him, but runs a high risk of you getting tangled up, on the deck with a motorbike on top of you.
Or give him a squirt from a bidon over the visor? Best done with a sticky energy drink in there.
The window maker ;) Amazed you didn't get killed by the scary TL.
TL is so much nicer than the TLS. Think the killer for me was the pointless underside brace on the swingarm.
Always fancied one of these
You can still buy them new....well unused.
