Ended up going back to cardrome motorcycle training who I did it with origionally after they eventualy called me back. Been riding my 125 around for over 3 months now so pretty confident I should get through this time as long as I don't do anything silly.

so you're going to have a restricted licence or are you taking the test on a 500cc motorcycle?
-
• #1804
something for you lot?
-

WTF?
an off-road motorcycle with bicycle drop handlebars?
weird. And why does it look like the exhaust is going round the back and then back into the engine intake?

At first I was like
Then I saw the drop bars and I was like
How does the throttle work? And there must be baws all turning circle on it.

I have a speed bleeder going spare.
Stainless Steel, thread is M8x1.0mm.
I can't return it because i have damaged the threads ever so lightly trying to force it into a 1.25mm pitch hole.
It's free to anyone who want it. -

Wish this rain would piss off tonight, want to go for a final do everything by the book ride without the usual london traffic about.
They gave me some brand new fuel injected bike they just got to ride this morning that just felt so alien to what I'd been riding. I jumped on one of the old crappy ones they had and while rougher it was much more comfortable. It was like going from a fixed beater to a full carbon road bike with electric gears that felt like it was taking you for a ride rather than you taking it for a ride .If the Test nerves don't kick in tomorrow I should be good I think.

Fuck it, ended up riding the turbo trainer visualising and making the movements of what I needed to do.

Good luck. Being comfortable with your bike is important.

do lots of looking around when you ride and dont forget to cancel your indicator.

dont forget to cancel your indicator.
I've only done my CBT so far, but my instructor was tearing his hair out about this. I forgot more times than I remembered.

i still do it now occasionally. but a little trick that worked for me was to count to seven as i turned the corner and then when i got to seven i would cancel the indicator. it helped a great deal and to increase the effect i counted it out aloud. my instructor used to say something like
"mirror, dashboard after turning" this might be better as i guess it can show head movement = being observant. -

Do you need to get a provisional A licence before taking your test? A mate just told me you do, but I've taken my CBT and don't have an A on my licence. I also have my theory test booked in soon, will I be alright to take that without an A?
