  • http://www.69colebrookerow.com/ all things Italiano!

  • go to the BFI - has some great films and an adult on Saturday night is about £7/8, cheaper than odious etc. Also has vedett in the bar

although the film I saw there last night was really freakin weird, still a bit traumatised

  • What film

  • They're showing a load of Steve McQueen films at the BFI at the moment, which I would be all over if I had someone to go with :-(

  • Awesome guys... thank you.

  • dogtooth

greek film about a father who shuts his family away from the world with fucked up consequences

graphic incest and some of the most painful to watch violence I've seen in a film (although there wasn't that much violence, I think maybe that was partly why)

I thought I was pretty desensitivised, until I saw a few of the scenes from that!

    very good though

    What film

  • Bullitt on the big screen, there's still seats left too!

We need a Bullitt ride - a downhill ally cat followed by the film ;)

    Yeah, the cat was terrifying

  • go to bodeans in soho and get a soho special :)

  • And afterwards you could go to epping forest for a spot of dogging and watch the sunset

  • perfect day rigth there^

  • you saw it? that bit with the teeth - don't like the thought of teeth getting hit, that was really unpleasant - and both the bits with the video - ouch

I thought the bit with the cat was funny!

    Yeah, the cat was terrifying

  • I can't remember the teeth violence, but I liked the dance bit. Good film. I ended up finding the girls perversely attractive, not despite but due to their oddness. I've always liked odd girls; one's with a crazy glint in their eye.

I imagine it will enter a the DVD collections of loads of lo fi types who listen to new folk.

Edit: I do remember the teeth bit now. I just had my wisdom teeth out had a sinkful of blood myself. nice

  • The ping pong thing is a v good date activity. There is an indoor place just off Carnaby st if the heavens open (they sell beer). That, then mooch on over to china town for some tasty goodness.

  • Definitely not how my ping pong date ended. Sheesh.

i go every 6mths or so, try to get into the studio big lush seats. plus i like off-beat movies.

yesterday went and saw 'play' a quirky sth american film set in santiago, chile.

  • Off to the Proms this evening, try to go once a year, all that classical stuff isn't too frighteing after you've been once, and the great thing is .... it doesn't go on too long!

  • Yesterday I went to a brilliant bit of secret woods in ... oh wait, no I'm not telling anyone about it.

  • Has Balki made it back from his date?

    *concerned parent

  • Yep, back in one piece.

    Average meal
Nothing showing at the Southbank Brazillian festival... fail
Posh drink at Skylon, which was really nice... .great space and a nice view.

Intended to go to that thing in Peckham that Ziska suggested, but she's a fan of Arsenal so wanted to go to the pub instead which was fucking WIN.

Good fun. Thanks for the top advice everyone... I now have a list to tick off.

  • You're home already?

  • Anyone know anything good happening tomorrow eve?

  • Anything similar to laserquest in London? I don't want to go to Croydon..
