I Borrowed a machine and have been having a play on it, made a few things but my stitching needs work.
Did make these which i am pretty happy with. Based on a few designs, took what i liked from each and had a go. Hope no one thinks its in bad taste, just made them for myself as opposed to buying some.

I got it!! I made a pillowcase today
I know a pillowcase isn't as cool as anything you lot are doing, but it's my first project outside of the course. (in the course we mad a skirt)Nice one Jaquie. I have the same and they are great. They recommended it to me in the handcraft tailoring course I made at LCF.

for those interested in the sewing classes my friends are organising this is a link to their website. i think the first class is on the 23rd of this month. its in deptford so if anybody fancies going to the royal albert for a glass of beer afterwards ............
I think I was the only forumonger there. They still all went for beers after which I couldn't make.
Anyways, These lady's are brilliant! I went in having no clue about sewing, and have left with a couple of hems up my sleeve (pun intended).
I seriously recommend these people if you want sewing lessons. Brilliant.
Thanks Coppi!I signed up for the next set of classes.

Cheers Andy, Yep that well could have been me on route to or from work. say hi next time if you get chance!
sorry the bags gone, it was realy random odds and sods, i wasnt going to go through it. i did have a place i took all my old fabric and it would get recycled into blankets for the homeless but alas that is miles away now, i did love the idea that homeless people would be wearing a tiny bit of chanel. i need to find a cloth recycling place again
