Best to pair that up with an SR MTE-100 to get all your bases covered

ridiculous money, and t he other 27.2 droppers are super fucking ugly and work on a ratchet system. cant remember who makes them
overall I would happily spend a bit more money to have a new frame and dropper

X-fusion HiLo dropper comes in 27.2, I have one, still going strong after 3 years and one oil change.
-
• #4430
now that is intriguing. not heard of them..
-
• #4431
max travel is 100mm for the 27.2 :-/ im a tall guy i need more than that

Continental X-Kings are great, but spend the money on the ProTection model, about £45 per tyre, but they'll last. I have a pair that have done over 4000 miles around the UK without a single puncture and still have plenty of tread on, and another pair that did Tour Divide that again had no punctures and have tread to spare. Superb tyres, fast rolling on road, grippy enough in mud.
Love mine - just be aware Conti are very strange on sizing. The 2.2 is in reality a 2.1 and the 2.4 in reality a 2.25.

My 2.4s are 2.4, might the rims you have? I'm running 35mm rims.
-
• #4434
I have the Thomson dropper in 27.2. Spendy, yes; but also the dog's bollocks.

I'm looking to pick up the stealthy on in 30.9 pretty soon, they get great reviews!

Also anyone interested in my KH 29er wheelset?
47mm wide rims with braking surface.
Surly ultranew hubs.

Rad. Hope the rider is a flyweight - can't see that seatpin/toptube/seattube junction holding up for long otherwise.
-
• #4439
Sort of lovely but is it a case of form over function? Seat lower than bars, upward curve on the top tube makes for less stand over, not much seatpost room.

Well it is an English...

Obviously not an engineer.

• #4442
It also has the saddle of death
-
• #4443
What sort of money are they Indra? What sort of weight too?
-
• #4444
Was looking 175, never ridden.
But I'm open to offers, not sure on the weight but likely around 3kg for the set.
-
• #4445
Are they the disc hubs?
-
• #4446
Nope not currently but I work in a bike shop so relace wouldn't be too much hassle.
-
• #4447
So time got the best of me and never got around to buying a groupset. Any reason why I shouldn't pull the trigger on this? Pay day is only 12 hours away.
-
• #4448
Why a triple?
-
• #4449
Just buy the thing already!
