The BMC's classy by my standards. My 29er has white rims'n'cranks FFS.
You need New Ultimate white carbon spacers.

not entirely convinced by the helix tubes
my bike is not far from being finished
xt 780 groupset being ordered this week
stupid fork has arrived (but had a scratch on the black box control top so has been couriered back for replacement - TF Tuned forks were rather embarrassed that they shipped it out with a scratch)
ec70 wide XC bars have arrived
after Chris King have continually dicked me around with the bottom cup for the external bearing headset I think I shall get the cane creek 110 headset instead and then I just need the front hub conversion kit
so depending on availability of groupset, hub conversion and headset, it could all be done by next weekend

The Helix tube look great with the right finish. There's green leafy finished 29er which the twisted tube look amazing on. Some of the road bikes look crashed.
I find it hard to believe it adds anything to the ride.
Awsome spec BTW.

Right, triangular top tube for 'cross. Can't see that being comfortable on your shoulder

I'd imagine that you'd have the portion of the seatstays within the main triangle being the contact point while carrying the bike.

Yeah. Could be a good concept, with a little flattening of the base of the TT just there. Just a little hammer work.
I get get the impression the design is focused on looks. Which it does really fecking well.
Also, and I'm probably way off on this, but why the horizontal TT? Do cross racers have a monk like ability to pull in their balls, whenever they need to put their feet down?
Looks amazing though.

Trying to decide between black or silver xt cranks
Am siding towards silver as I assume it will not be so noticeable as the annodise wears off.
Stem and seatpost however are black.

I always go with silver. Its a MTB, youre going to rubb the feck out of them. Plus it looks better. I assume the silve still comes with black rings.

Black, on the grounds that SF is colour blind or completely lacking in taste.

My next cranks will be silver (or maybe white, heh) but I actually think a well-scuffed pair of cranks look pretty awesome.

As my 29er cranks are white ceramic coated. I find it hard to dispute this.....
But for me XTs have always been silver.

Ceramic white?

i went for the sliver
for the scuffing reasons

Thanks! Although I'm not sure about colour-selection praise from the man that built that BMC ;-p
My immediate problem is that I can't seem to easily find any white headset spacers. I have some gloss white rattle can paint so I might just paint the ones I've got.
